I'm ready now!
How do I know I'm ready for fatherhood?
* I find myself tivo-ing "Bringing home baby" and other newborn-related shows on Discovery Health Channel. (Its a little sad actually. Our DVR is full of home-improvement shows, a couple of sitcoms, and baby shows.)
* I laugh at new fathers who gag at the sight of a dirty diaper.
* I've spent way too much time trying to figure out how I'm going to fit two car seats and all my samples from work into the car.
* The thought of an all-Barney channel isn't quite as disturbing as it once was.
* I have rough sketches of a "Thomas the tank engine" play-set that would run track through-out the entire house.
* I know who the Wiggles are.
I'm pretty pumped!

Oh no, Barney should still be disturbing. Kids are the cutest things in the world, but Barney can become really annoying.
I volunteer for a hospital, and once I had to hold a child for over an hour - watching barney the entire time! It was terrible :)
May you have many years of happiness and joy with your babies!
