Advice anyone?

If you know me, you know I hate surprises. I was the kid who searched the house for Christmas presents. I check our banking online almost obsessively. I bought a $250 stroller just to practice with it. You get the idea.

The idea of being a father to Twins is - at times - overwhelming. I'm hoping to take the edge off with your help. What were the biggest surprises you ran into as a new parent? What do you wish someone would have told you? I'm looking for total honesty here folks!

P.S. I can't see my feet now!

  • Hello Jason. Well my only comment is if you are going to have twins it is best to have them first. Not having any knowledge about what a parent should do, you just do it and it seems to work out. You are constantly busy but that is a good thing. You and Pauline can both be enjoying the little ones together and not have the feeling like one parent is hogging all the attention. Just know that if you are doing it for one twin, you might as well turn around and do it to the other twin next. This is in reference to changing diapers, feeding, bathing, etc. My best advice to you as a mother of twins is relax, enjoy the time when they are little because it gets alittle more complicated when they grow up.

    Grandma to be,
