Trips and milestones

The kids are back from their first airplane flight. We went to visit my family in Ohio/Michigan.

Scott and Hannah did surprisingly well! Both slept almost the entire way from Minneapolis to Detroit. On the way back, Scott didn't do as well - but he was pretty tired. The twins had lots of fun meeting their extended family and new cousins. I'm not sure their little feet ever hit the ground. ;-)

Speaking of little feet hitting the ground - both Hannah and Scott are now standing! This weekend Pauline and I had set them down in the pack and plays to nap while we did things around the house. I looked over at one point and saw Scott's head pop up over the high side. We went over to check on him - and sure enough, he was standing!

Last night, we had some friends over, so we put the twins to bed early. At one point we heard them just squealing and giggling. I checked on them with the monitor - and Hannah was standing! I got some video of it... I'll post that later this week.

They're both using support to stay standing right now - but at this rate they'll be walking in a month or two.
